This preset sets the output size to 60 × 60 cm, which is 23.62 × 23.62 in (60 × 60 cm). It is a physical size, so the number of pixels depends on the DPI: 2268 × 2268 px at 96 DPI, or 7087 × 7087 px at 300 DPI.
There is no widely used named standard at exactly this size, so the preset is useful when a printer, frame or form specifies it directly. Always check the dimensions given by whoever will print or receive the image.
| Output size | 60 × 60 cm |

| Aspect ratio | 1:1 (square) |

| Pixels at 300 DPI | 7087 × 7087 (50.2 MP) |
60 × 60 cm in pixels
Pixels = size in inches × DPI. DPI is a printing instruction, not a quality setting: it says how many pixels are spread over each inch of paper. With the DPI field on Auto, ResizeAny converts at 96 DPI, which suits screens. For print, set 300 DPI. JPG and PNG output stores the DPI value in the file.
| DPI | Use | Pixel size |
|---|---|---|
| 72 | Screen preview | 1701 × 1701 |
| 96 | Tool default (Auto) | 2268 × 2268 |
| 150 | Large posters, viewed from a distance | 3543 × 3543 |
| 300 | Photos, cards, anything held close | 7087 × 7087 |
Will your photo be sharp enough?
A 12-megapixel phone photo (4000 × 3000) is short of the 7087 × 7087 pixels this size needs at 300 DPI. It would have to be enlarged by about 136%, which looks soft. Use a 150 DPI target (3543 × 3543 px) for a more realistic result, or start with a larger original.
Needed source resolution: 50.2 megapixels or more at 300 DPI.
Matching the 1:1 shape
The output is 1:1. If your photo has another shape, it has to be cropped or it will be stretched. This is how much of each common photo is lost when cropped to fill 1:1:
| Starting photo | Cropped away to fill the shape |
|---|---|
| Phone photo (4000 × 3000, 4:3) | About 25% of the image |
| DSLR photo (6000 × 4000, 3:2) | About 33% of the image |
| Video frame (1920 × 1080, 16:9) | About 44% of the image |
| Portrait phone photo (3000 × 4000, 3:4) | About 25% of the image |
How to resize an image to 60x60 cm
- Add your image. Select a photo or drag it onto the box above. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC and BMP files are accepted, and the file stays on your device.
- Set the resolution. The preset fills in 60 × 60 cm. Leave DPI on Auto to convert at 96 DPI, or enter 300 DPI for print so the file has enough pixels for a sharp result.
- Crop if the shape differs. The target shape is 1:1. If your photo is a different shape, crop it first so the print is not stretched.
- Download and print at 100%. Save as JPG or PNG; the DPI value is stored in the file. Print at 100% scale, not "fit to page", so the physical size stays exact.
